Double denim is no longer a fashion faux pas! Hailey Baldwin, Miley Cyrus, Gigi Hadid, and Kylie Jenner are among the celebs who have looked chic in head to toe denim.
If there’s one fabric that’s never going out of style, it’s denim. To elevate the look of a basic pair of jeans, or a casual jean jacket, some of our favorite stars have reached for double denim ensembles — including Vanessa Hudgens, 31. The High School Musical alum channeled the ’90s (and an episode of Melrose Place) with her Canadian Tuxedo on Saturday, Nov. 28. Vanessa rocked a loose fitting pair of jeans and a sherpa-lined denim jacket as she enjoyed a Blue Bottle coffee in Los Angeles. The star was out with her BFF GG Magree and it appeared they did some shopping at Urban Outfitters.
Back in October, Hailey Baldwin rocked a head-to-toe denim look when she stepped out with her husband Justin Bieber following a meal at an upscale West Hollywood restaurant. She opted for light wash denim jeans, an ab-bearing black sports bra, and a matching light wash jean jacket.
Comeback queen Miley Cyrus also rocked the look on October 2, when she stepped out in New York City, wearing a head-turning ‘fit. The “Midnight Sky” singer reached for a pair of boot cut jeans and an oversized jacket in the same shade of denim. Of course, she didn’t stop there. Miley also accessorized with black boots, an over-the-top black hat, and a matching protective face mask. What a look!
Emily Ratajkowski also tried the trend when she was out in New York City on March 17. She threw on a pair of high-waisted light-wash straight-leg jeans with a tight cropped Inamorata Elysian Top in Black. On top of her shirt, she donned an oversized light-wash Levi’s Type 3 Faux Shearling Trucker Jacket. Emily accessorized her look with a pair of white Nike Air Max Sneakers, high socks, Vera Wang Grace Sunglasses, and Jennifer Fisher Mini Lilly Hoop Earrings.
Wearing denim on denim is cute and casual, but paired with heels, and full hair and makeup, and the look is perfect for a night out! Whether it’s a jean mini skirt, a jumpsuit, overalls, or a chambray shirt, this look works in so many different ways! This is a trend that will never go out of style.
