Paramedics thought Yosef Al-Hasnawi was having a mental health emergency when he was actually suffering a gunshot wound. That’s why they took him to St. Joseph’s healthcare, rather than a trauma hospital, shortly before the 19-year-old succumbed to the wound. Those details emerged when conversations with 911 dispatchers and the paramedics were played in a Hamilton courtroom. The trial will determine whether paramedics Steve Snively and Christopher Marchant failed in their duty to provide the necessaries of life. Lisa Hepfner reports.
