Belton High senior records original song, music video, in honor of Class of 2020 – KWTX
BELTON, Texas (KWTX) A Belton High School Senior is going viral after writing and making the music video, “Make it to the end,” in honor of his graduating class, sheltering in place due to the Coronavirus.

“It feels like something you’d see out of a movie,” said Jaden Rudloff.
With school being delayed until May 4th, and possibly longer, seniors are potentially missing prom, graduation and many other big moments.
Rudloff says he’s missing practice with band mates most of all.
“All I’d been doing is looking forward to those senior year concerts,” he said.
“I know I was gonna have solos and it was gonna be my last big thing to do in high school.”
Then, he was inspired.
“It was 3 a.m. and I was sitting at my piano and thought, ‘Hey, I should write a song about this.'”
Not only did he write it in a few hours, Rudloff stayed up all night in his room recording and editing. That’s when he enlisted a little help from his friends.
“I wanted that sound of all our voices blending together because I knew that was gonna really make it more emotional and bring out the lyrics better,” he said.
Almost immediately, the video went viral. Now, Rudloff says he’s working on his first album after the huge response from students and fans.
Through it all, Rudloff says he knows memories are being made just six feet, or more, apart.
“I wanted to write a message to the seniors, even if I don’t them,” he said.
“The entire class of 2020, I wanted them to be able to hear something that could bring us together and connect.”
