Chris Wondolowski’s record goal earns multiple honors | Ale’s MLS Awards

ESPN FC’s Alejandro Moreno hands out his weekly Major League Soccer awards. San Jose Earthquakes captain Chris Wondolowski unsurprisingly wins Player of the Week after scoring four goals vs. Chicago Fire and passing Landon Donovan as the league’s all-time leading scorer in the process. Fire goalkeeper David Ousted also earns a shoutout for his role in Wondolowski’s record goal. Others honored in Week 12 include Real Salt Lake’s Sebastian “Bofo” Saucedo, who scored a beautiful goal vs. Toronto FC, and Orlando City’s entire defense, which had a moment to forget in a 5-1 win vs. FC Cincinnati.
