Halsey says her next album will be “better” than ‘Badlands’
She’s currently working on the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Hopeless Fountain Kingdom’
Halsey has spoken out about her hopes for her next album, telling fans that she believes that it will be “better” than her 2015 debut ‘Badlands’.
The singer is currently working on the follow-up to her 2017 sophomore album ‘Hopeless Fountain Kingdom’, and has regularly kept her fans up to date with her thoughts on how the new record is shaping up.
After revealing that album number three is sounding “louder” than her two previous efforts, Halsey has now responded on Twitter to fans who asked if the new record was “better” than ‘Badlands’.
Halsey also hinted that the new album will feature more tracks like ‘Gasoline’, which featured on the deluxe version of ‘Badlands’.
Writing to fans last month, Halsey expressed her gratitude for the collective patience of her fanbase: “I know you guys are anxious for new music and new memories for touring and travelling with your friends for events and pop ups and meeting new people for music video screenshots for group chats and late night.
“Thank you for being patient with me. I want it to be perfect.”
Last week, Halsey shared a studio version of her cover of Frank Ocean’s ‘Solo’. “I sang this song to myself in the dressing room everyday on the last tour and it still fills me with the feeling of home,” she told her Twitter followers in an accompanying message. “I wanted to share it with you.”
