Harry Kane’s late magic helps Spurs beat Ronaldo’s Juventus | International Champions Cup
Tottenham Hotspurs and England striker Harry Kane scored an injury-time winner from near the halfway line to give his side a dramatic 3-2 win over Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus, in the two side’s International Champions Cup match at the Singapore National Stadium. Spurs were first on the scoresheet when Erik Lamela poked in Gianluigi Buffon’s parried save from Troy Parrott’s shot. Juve equalized in the 56th minute through Gonzalo Higuain, and Cristiano Ronaldo put the Old Lady ahead four minutes later. Tottenham were back level in the 65th minute, when new summer signing Tanguy Ndombele came off the bench and immediately set up Lucas Moura with a piercing through ball. In the third minute of extra time, Kane latched onto a loose ball in the center circle and lobbed it over Wojciech Szczesny after spotting the Juventus goalkeeper off his line, sealing the victory for Spurs.
