Here’s What’s New on HBO Max in October 2020

It’s crazy difficult to keep up with the rotating catalogues of all the streaming services. Luckily, we try to stay on top of things for you so you can focus on the important task of watching Congo for the 50th time (currently available on HBO Max). In addition to that landmark film, HBO Max is adding a slew of TV shows and movies to their library this October, including premieres of some interesting new original content.

Standouts include the limited series The Undoing starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant, Greg Berlanti’s docudrama series Equal highlighting important figures and events in the LGBTQ+ rights movement leading up to the Stonewall riots in 1969, the West Wing reunion special A West Wing Special to Benefit When We All Vote, and the season finale of the horror/sci-fi series Lovecraft Country. You can also look forward to The Matrix trilogy, Man of Steel, It: Chapter Two, Us, and the iconic epic musical experience Cats, among many other films. Also, if you were planning on checking out Blade Runner: The Final Cut, two-thirds of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Nice Guys, or Raising Arizona, you’d better get to those soon before they leave HBO Max at the end of October. Check out the full list of everything coming and going below.
