Janet Jackson celebrates end of Las Vegas residency
After killing it during her Las Vegas residency, Janet Jackson was ready to kick back and party a little.
On Friday, after the penultimate night of her “Metamorphosis” run at Park Theater in Park MGM, Jackson hit Juniper Cocktail Lounge with her band, dancers and crew, then moved on to On The Record Speakeasy and Club.
Stars including Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Queen Latifah and Magic Johnson had come to bow down and watch Jackson get “Nasty.”
And after her final show on Saturday, Jackson and pals — including Mary J. Blige — returned to On The Record, where DJ Aktive — Jackson’s DJ — was on the decks.
Meanwhile, Oscar winner Alison Janney was also in the audience Saturday night — posting video of the show — and then spotted with friends enjoying Korean BBQ at Roy’s Choi’s Best Friend at Park MGM.
Jackson’s residency has been such a hit that Live Nation has announced she’s heading to Hawaii to perform two shows on November 21 and 22 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of “Rhythm Nation.”
