Lil Wayne, Brett Favre & More Stars Endorse Donald Trump For President In 2020 Election

With Election Day around the corner, stars like Lil Wayne, Jay Cutler, Brett Favre and more have donned their red ‘MAGA’ caps in support of President Donald Trump.

Since Donald Trump came from the celebrity world – remember, there was a time when he was only known for hosting The Apprentice – it makes sense that the 74-year-old Trump would have a lineup of celebrities joining him to “Make America Great Again”…again. With stars like Billie Eilish, Cardi B, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson going public with their support of Democratic nominees Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, Trump and Vice President Mike Pence have picked up endorsements from celebs like Lil Wayne, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Tekashi 6ix9ine, Kid Rock, Stacey Dash, and The O.C’s Samaire Armstrong. Ahead of the Nov. 3 election, here are the key celebs that you should know are all aboard the Trump train.

Brett Favre

Brett Favre made no secret of the fact that he was a Donald Trump supporter when he was photographed golfing with the president during summer 2020. However, he confirmed his allegiance by officially endorsing him for president on Twitter on Oct. 30. “My vote is for what makes this country great, freedom of speech & religion, 2nd Amnd, hard working tax paying citizens, police & military,” he wrote. “In this election, we have freedom of choice, which we should all respect. For me and these principles, my vote is for #DonaldTrump.”

Lil Wayne

With five days to go before the presidential election, rapper Lil Wayne met with Trump and decided to give the incumbent president his endorsement. The 38-year-old said he was swayed Trump’s proposed $500 billion “Platinum Plan” to increase capital to Black communities. “Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump. Besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done,” Wayne wrote in an Oct. 29 tweet, alongside a photo with Trump.

Jay Cutler

Kristin Cavallari‘s ex-husband, Jay Cutler, seemingly endorsed Trump on Instagram by posting Jack Nicklaus‘ letter of support to his Instagram Stories. The former Pro Bowl quarterback, 37, captioned the letter, which implored voters to believe in the “American Dream” and vote for Trump, “SIGN ME UP.” He posted the letter on his feed, as well, captioning it “Never a doubt.”

Jack Nicklaus

Golf legend Jack Nicklaus revealed to fans on Twitter that he had already voted early in the 2020 election — and for Trump. In a lengthy, signed statement, he wrote, “Through the years, I have been blessed to personally know several Presidents on both sides of the aisle. All were good people. All loved their country. And all believed in the American Dream. I have had the privilege over the last 3 1/2 years to get to know our current President a little more as his term has progressed.

“I have been very disappointed at what’s he’s had to put up with from many directions, but with that, I have seen a resolve and a determination to do the right thing for our country,” Jack continued. “He has delivered on his promises. He’s worked for the average person. In my opinion, he has been more diverse than any other President I have seen and has tried to help people from all walks of life — equally.”

Lil Pump

Lil Pump, 20, is casting his first presidential vote ever for Trump. The “Boss” rapper went on an expletive-filled rant on Instagram in the early hours of October 26, slamming Biden for wanting to raise taxes on the wealthy. “All I gotta say is ‘Trump 2020 b***h. F**k I look like [I’m] paying an extra 33% in taxes for Biden.” He goes on to curse out “Sleepy Joe,” using one of Trump’s favorite insults about Biden before screaming and ending the video. Note that while Biden has pledged to repeal the Trump tax cuts, he will only repeal the parts that apply to people making more than $400,000 a year.

50 Cent

Fiddy is a very wealthy man, and he doesn’t want to be paying more taxes to Uncle Sam. On Oct. 19, he shared an Instagram screen grab showing what the top tax rates per state would be under Joe Biden’s tax plan (though he didn’t note that the top state — California — has ridiculously high state and local taxes already no matter who is president). Fif freaked out over the screen grab that showed that the top earners in Cali would be paying 62.6 percent of their income to taxes, while NYC residents would part with 62 percent as well. What he also didn’t note is that any Biden tax plan would have to be approved by the House and Senate.

“WHAT THE F**K! (VOTE For TRUMP) IM OUT. F**K NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway,” Curtis wrote in the caption. He acknowledged that Trump has had his share of accusations of racism as president, but Fif wants to protect his earnings. “Don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people, 62% are you out of ya f**king mind,” he added. In Feb. 2020, Forbes magazine estimated Fif’s fortune to be $110 million.

Stephen Baldwin

The same day that Hailey Baldwin voiced her support for Joe Biden by posing in a blue tye-dye Biden/Harris t-shirt, her father, Stephen Baldwin, tweeted his support for Trump. Stephen has been a known Christian conservative in Hollywood, and he’s been a longtime Trump supporter. ” ‘land of #free home of #brave’  is … reverence 4 our freedom, importance of clarity of vote?  (vision goal truth intent) Many are called, few are chosen! Gospel is truth. battle already won #Trump2020.”

6ix9ine

“I don’t think Trump trolls,” Tekashi 6ix9ine said when speaking to The New York Times in September. “I think Trump is genuinely Trump. I get compared to Trump every day. But I love Mexican people. I don’t think we’re the same.” The man born Daniel Hernandez was asked if he ever voted (“Can felons vote?”) and who he would vote for. 6ix9ine mouthed that he “would vote for Trump.”

Stacey Dash

Stacey Dash’s Twitter Bio, showing support for Donald Trump

Similar to Stephen Baldwin, Stacey was an early supporter of Donald Trump. Her Twitter feed (she was “shut down on IG” in early October) is mostly filled with motivational messages and Christian biblical quotes, but she has also retweeted @TeamTrump a handful of times. Plus, her Twitter bio includes #MAGA #WomenFor Trump (and a hashtag related to the Trump-adjacent conspiracy theory, Qanon.)

Trace Adkins

Country music star Trace Adkins appeared on the first season of Celebrity Apprentice in 2008, placing second behind Piers Morgan. He returned for the sixth season in 2013, eventually winning it. Trace is a longtime supporter of the GOP, and he gave a ringing endorsement of Trump by singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the 2020 Republican National Convention.

Kid Rock

From country music to country-inspired-rock/hip-hop. Kid Rock is a huge supporter of Donald Trump. He unveiled a line of Pro-Trump merch in 2016, per Consequence of Sound. On Sept. 14, Kid Rock headlined a Trump 2020 reelection event near Detroit. Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle also appeared at the event.

Ted Nugent

Now, from country-inspired-hip-hop to classic rock. Ted Nugent has always been a vocal supporter of Second Amendment Rights and a vocal opponent of anything or anyone he deems a “dirty Marxist enemy.” An early Trump booster, Ted went on Facebook Live in August and said that Donald Trump was heaven sent. Literally. “Donald Trump, President Donald Trump, is Michael The Archangel of we the people,” said Ted, per Blabbermouth, “the sacred experiment in self-government, the U.S. Constitution and Bill Of Rights, and if you wanna give it all up, if you wanna turn into a suburb of Venezuela, like San Francisco and like Portland and Seattle and like Austin, Texas, and like Minneapolis and Atlanta and Chicago… If you want the whole country to be run like Chicago, then vote for [Biden and Harris]”

Johnny Rotten

Johnny Rotten, now looking like Johnny MAGA (MEGA)

And now, onto punk. John Lydon has gone from “Anarchy in the U.K.” to “Make America Great Again.” The former Johnny Rotten, aka the lead singer for The Sex Pistols, was seen wearing a MAGA shirt in late September. While many pointed out that former Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious was famously photographed wearing a shirt with a Nazi swastika, John backed Trump in an interview with The Observer. “I’d be daft as a brush not to. He’s the only sensible choice now that Biden is up – he’s incapable of being the man at the helm.”

James Woods

The Videodrome actor has been one of the loudest conservative voices on Twitter and has continued to use the platform to trumpet the message of Donald Trump.

Isaiah Washington

Former ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Isaiah Washington endorses Trump (Twitter)

The former Grey’s Anatomy star declared himself a Trump supporter in 2019 and has been a vocal proponent since then. “Yes, I will be voting for President Trump because I’m not lazy, angry, disenchanted, or uninformed. I’m voting for him, because he’s done a great job in the face of every unethical attack imaginable by EVERYONE. No ‘lazy,’ ‘narcissistic,’ ‘idiot’ could survive what he has. #MAGA,” he tweeted on Oct. 12.

This is MY opinion. I am sharing it with you at the cost of everything, because it is my right. It is your right to refute it. * What I hope comes from this, is that we are able to have an open dialogue. * There are many thoughts and insight you may want to interject and provide. I encourage you to have factual data to support what your point is. * There are so many in our great country who have been bullied into silence at the doing of a far left mob. * Let’s shift back to reality and facts. Let’s stop placating to the emotionally undeveloped, who have an inability to process the meaning of personal responsibility, as if they are the cultural guide of which we should follow. * I encourage us all to stay grounded in these discussions. I am well aware how emotional and important what we are discussing is. * You can see in my video how passionate I am. I ask you to consider, why I would be coming out saying these things. How is it that I feel so confident about putting my “divisive” perspective in public. I am willing to gamble with what comes of my opinion, because I have conviction of its validity. * If nothing else, I hope this encourages you to speak YOUR opinion, no matter how unpopular it may be. * Freedom of speech must be restored. Logic must be restored. Critical thinking must be restored. * I have deep love for everyone of my fellow humans. Every race, color, creed, gender, political back ground, religious back ground, financial background, must have their OWN voice and opinion, and it MUST be allowed be to spoken.
